Emerson and I have been reflecting on the past seven days and decided that we want to start a new Saturday practice. Your notes through mail & social media have been overwhelming and we want to return the favor with #WeSeeYou shoutouts. Feel free to join us.

To our friends at the @USPS: You are sacrificing your health and well being to ensure the world stays connected and #WeSeeYou.

To family and friends of @USPS employees: you shared heartwarming & heartbreaking stories of your loved ones. We are so grateful for the work they do & the sacrifice you’re making. #WeSeeYou

To the extended LGBTQ+ community - We’ve heard from so many of you over the past week & you’ve made US feel so loved. We want you to know that we love you & #weseeyou.

To @willganss, @NancyChen, @NikkiBoyer, & so many other journalists: you have made a stressful situation feel so comfortable and filled with joy. Thank you for sharing our stories and #WeSeeYou.

To the many creatives feeling isolated and alone: we are so grateful for the beauty you bring into this world. You build bridges between people & #WeSeeYou.

To @ten_ten and all of Emerson’s long-time penpals: it’s been a busy week, but we’ll always have time for you. Expect a letter soon. #WeSeeYou

To everyone who has shared their loss of someone they love: we hope their memory is a blessing and we’re sending love from afar. #WeSeeYou

To everyone struggling with isolation and loneliness: your feelings are valid. Humans thrive through connection. Know that you’re loved. #WeSeeYou

To all of the moms, old and new: we know it’s not easy to put up with the rest of us, but we sure are thankful for you. Especially you, @amyhydeweber. #WeSeeYou

To those that grieve or struggle on Mother’s Day for so many known and unknown reasons: it’s ok to not be ok. #WeSeeYou

Finally, to everyone else: our hope is that you would write a letter to a loved one or someone you’re grateful for. If everyone writes one letter, then everyone will get a letter. You will see them just like #WeSeeYou
