I'll continue the thread later, but I'd like to point out that just the top 10 households collectively donated $79,657 to successful campaigns, accounting for 9.3% of the $854,434.45 raised by members of Ottawa's 2018-2022 term of council.
Thanks to @ottwatch for this data.
Alright, let's do the next 10. Of the 1400 households that donated, about 100 supported multiple candidates. I won't feature all of them.
I'm not sure what the logical place to stop will be.
$2400 cutoff (twice the max)?
Once we've accounted for 25% of total campaign funds?
#11: $7100 (plus $1100 to failed campaigns) from Cuckoo & Madhu Kochar to @JimWatsonOttawa @barrhavenjan @Eli_ElChantiry @RickChiarelli @dianedeans @TimTierney @StephenBlais @GeorgeDarouze @MeehanCarolAnne @AllanHubley_23 3759 Revelstoke is in @RiverWardRiley ward. Phoenix Homes.

(decision: I'm gong to draw my arbitrary line soon at either #20 or at $5000 in donations - this is getting repetitive... same kinds of people, donating to the same few campaigns)
#17: $5600 (plus $3400 to failed campaigns) from Pierre & Dylan Dufresne, Beverley Morrow to @JimWatsonOttawa @barrhavenjan @StephenBlais @GeorgeDarouze @MeehanCarolAnne 183 Stewart is in @MathieuFleury ward. Pierre is VP for Tartan Homes. Beverley is a law clerk for Taggart.

#20 is a 3 way tie at $4800. Adding up the top 20 households, we have $137,752.
So, just 20 households accounted for 16% of all campaign funds raised by those who won a seat in the 2018 Ottawa municipal election.
Here's the whole thing, pie-chart style.
