My email to OVERWOOD clients on our board of directors' selection process.

Dear Tayo,

I am pleased to announce our inaugural board of directors first to you, our valued client/early adopter.

I have worked with many boards of directors in my corporate life and have generally found them redundant.

The composition is usually more than 85% older males with years of experience but little insight into the day-to-day operation of the business.

We chose to go in a different direction at OVERWOOD.

We purposefully selected a group of people who can exercise true governance in our operation and help us continue to place the interest of our clients first.

We wanted a board with specifics skillsets and a truly global worldview so that they can help us adhere to global standards in our operations. The members of our board have worked across 4 continents and they possess the skillsets we need to succeed in the global marketplace.

OVERWOOD needs to excel in finance, marketing, business strategy, and growth.

So our directors are Mrs. Adewunmi (a finance veteran), Mr. Gerner (a management and growth specialist), Dr. Bukky Oyedeji (a business strategy professor), and Ms. Oyatogun (a youth marketing expert).
