José Barrionuevo, his Minister of Inner Affairs, and Rafael Vera, his Secretary of State for Security, were condemned to 10 years of prison for the kidnapping and murder of a French citizen, Segundo Marey. #GAL #ThisIsTheRealSpain

Both were reprieved by the government of José María Aznar (PP) after 105 days. The youngsters of Altsasua have spent more than 3.5 years in prison for a bar row, some Catalan leaders more than 2.5 years for peaceful demonstrations and a referendum. #GAL #ThisIsTheRealSpain

When a State represses its minorities (Basques, Galicians, Catalans) with State terrorism instead of accommodating them democratically into a multicultural State, then it is a despotic empire in war against its colonies. #GAL #ThisIsTheRealSpain

To break out of that repressive State is then for minorities a question of pure cultural and human survival. #StandUpForCatalonia

Although the disclosure of this report reopens one of the worst scandals of the PSOE government in the last 40 years, no Spanish mainstream press has talked about it.
They are also accomplices of this State aberration. #GAL
