Just had a phone consultation with the endocrinologist. My morning cortisol is sky high!
966 (250 - 500)
He tried to dismiss it by saying medications can do that, (I don't take any, just my T3 (hormone) tablets.)
I told him I was worried, and that all my symptoms were ruining my life, he eventually caved in and prescribed a dexamethasone supression test.
At last they're doing something! It's only been 5 years, but what the hell?!
Whatever the result I don't hold out much hope.
Also, they are still refusing to prescribe T3. They are quite willing to monitor me on it tho'! Which comes round to my next dilemma.
I am running out of my T3 meds.

And before any trolls tell me to get a job to pay for it, I would love to be able to work, I worked for 23 years, (sometimes 2 jobs).
On a bad day:
Go to bed, can't fall asleep.
Thrash about for hours, fall asleep 4am.
Wake up to go to the loo several times.
Wake up tired.
My hands & legs are shaking.
Sweating.
I'm irritable & moody.
I can't stand up, even the shortest periods of time. (My muscles are weak.)
Blurred vision.
I'm out of breath.
Fast heart rate.
I have allergic reactions to random food & drink.
TMI: constipation/diarrhoea.
My physical appearance:
Hair loss.
Hair where you shouldn't have it.
Unexplained bruises.
Fluid retention all over my body.
Weight I can't lose.
I don't look like me anymore.
Somehow I don't think an employer would put up with this, never mind me.
If you haven't dozed off after reading this thread, I need help to raise funds for my meds. If you can only retweet that's OK too. Thank you.❤
