1/ It's a fact that #TrumpIsNotWell; it's also a fact that the way people are mocking him for his infirmity is ableist & is friendly fire for the most vulnerable populations

We can emphasize the danger of an unwell POTUS w/o hurting innocents

2/ That FDR was both one of the best presidents ever & significantly disabled shows that being unable to do physical tasks has nothing to do w/the job of POTUS.

But mental & emotional infirmity is really dangerous! Wilson & Reagan should have resigned on that matter alone

3/ #TrumpIsNotWell is an issue b/c (1) his infirmity is not 'disability' - it's very much beyond that (2) the Exec branch has brazenly & ridiculously lied abt his health (3) DJT mocks others in a horrible manner for infirmity (4) he falsely accused HRC as unfit for those reasons

4/ (4cont) & the press ran w/the 'Hillary is ill' nonsense & perpetuated misogynist lies based on it (5) his lies & hypocrisy & corruption are revealed in this issue

If ppl want to attack him on this, protecting innocents must be paramount. So how?

5/ (1) Emphasize that it's cruel to mock anyone who's unable to walk w/o assistance or to drink w/1 hand; these conditions are not disqualifying for public office (2) the ads can say "nothing to be ashamed about being disabled Mr. President, so why do you attack those who are?"

6/ (2cont) or "Why deny you have difficulty Mr President? We can see that but your brazen lies show you think disability is a sin & that your lies aren't transparent & cruel" etc.

Many ways to preserve our ethics & honor while smacking DJT down

7/ #TrumpIsNotWell is an effective attack b/c of his manifest brittle narcissism & the propaganda regime fostered by FoxNews. Repeatedly showing clips of his infirmity breaks through to the goons who worship him to both shatter their fealty & to demonstrate they've been lied to

8/ But the way people are doing it now perpetuates the evil they criticize him for: mocking infirmity. It's ugly

It's also why Democrats have avoided acting like the Lincoln Project: b/c the GOP responds to cruelty but the Dems are the party of compassion

9/ Going after the bully shouldn't mean act like a bully. GOP ad specialists are effective in the same way tabloids & spam are: be simple, bestial, & appeal to the lowest instincts

I'm a lifelong Democrat b/c I believe in using government to make things better, kinder, generous

10/ When the #TrumpCrisis ends, I want to us to remember why we CAN'T behave like our ex-GOP allies. The appeal to mockery & cruelty is effective b/c it evokes the lowest parts of our collective anxiety

Ethics/mitzvot take effort but are better in the long run
