Phases of grief when mourning pre-#COVID19 life:
1) Denial: This is no worse than the flu, it may even be invented
2) Anger: This is <insert your enemies>' fault! I knew it!
3) Bargaining: OK, this is real, but it means that this *thing* that I always wanted to do is now what we *must* do, right? (every political view pretty much represented here, except those who got stuck for the moment at stages 1 and 2)
4) Depression: silence, stunned silence
...
5) Acceptance: now we can do something, where do I sign up to help my neighbors, to learn to make hand sanitizer, to help scientist, what can I do?
People who've spent all or part of the pandemic in any of these stages need our understanding and sometimes forgiveness. It's a normal process, people
