1. Hello and welcome! It’s episode 305 of #MrMrsBetterHalf. Mr. & Mrs. Better Half is designed to strengthen marriages & relationships that will lead to marriage, with wisdom from God's Word.

2. This week is special because of the ongoing Accelerate Online Prayer Conference. And I think it’s important we take some time for couples to pray for the marriage of their dreams and singles pray for their marital destiny. #MrMrsBetterHalf

3. If you want to get married and build a happy home, it is important to sow seeds of prayer into your marriage and the life of your future spouse. In fact, the earlier you start, the better. #MrMrsBetterHalf

4. If you are already married, it doesn’t matter the state of your marriage, whether you are both on cloud 9 or you’re on the verge of calling it quits, please join in and pray. #MrMrsBetterHalf

5. I'll be sharing 5 prayer points for the married & the singles. Take each point, check the scripture reference, & pray about them sincerely. Then later tonight at the conference, we'll continue. Make sure you join in via YouTube.com/TheElevationTv at 6:30PM #MrMrsBetterHalf

6. Starting with the married folks: (a) Pray that God will help you to grow in love and better communicate with your spouse. That you’ll speak with kindness, understanding and clarity always in the name of Jesus. Ephesians 4:29 #MrMrsBetterHalf

7. (b) Pray that anything that is an obstacle in your marriage be removed and that it will give way for God to do His will in your home and in your marriage. Pray that God’s Spirit will breathe newness to every part of your home. Matthew 15:13, Isaiah 40:8 #MrMrsBetterHalf

8. (c) Pray that God will help you to be faithful to your spouse. That you will develop discipline not succumb to temptation and that your focus will be on your spouse. Proverbs 6:32, Hebrews 13:4 #MrMrsBetterHalf

9. (d) Pray for your individual and joint finances. Pray that God will bless your seeds, and your labour. That your home will prosper in every good work and your labour will not be in vain Psalm 90:17 #MrMrsBetterHalf

10. (e) Finally, pray that your partner will be in good health, sound mind, that he/she will be bold and courageous to conquer new territories. 2Timothy 1:7 #MrMrsBetterHalf

11. Now for the singles. Prayer prepares your heart to be sensitive, and while praying you should expect God to speak to you and guide you in matters of conduct, your decision making and in all your endeavours. #MrMrsBetterHalf

12. (a) Pray for peace and joy. Pray against the anxieties that comes with getting married or fear that you won’t find your mate. Cast this care upon the Lord. He cares for you and He has your back. 1 Peter 5:7, Phillippians 4:7 #MrMrsBetterHalf

13. (b) Declare that your marital destiny is blessed and you will find a right spouse. Proverbs 18:22 #MrMrsBetterHalf

14. (c) Pray against distractions. That you will not be derailed by time wasters or the wrong kinds of people. That you’ll associate with the right people that will further connect you with your spouse. Proverbs 13:20 #MrMrsBetterHalf

15. (d) Pray for self-control and the strength to resist sexual temptations. Receive grace to keep your body pure and holy in reverence to God till you are married. 2 Timothy 2:22 #MrMrsBetterHalf

16. (e) Pray that the works of your hands are prosperous! Pray that your career and/or business will flourish. Proverbs 16:3 #MrMrsBetterHalf
