YOUR SURNAME & FATHER'S NAME
Your father's name is your surname not your husband's name.
In Islam, for the fact that you marry a man does not mean he is now your father, he is your zaoj not Abu as it is rampant nawadays.
Some people go to the extent of changing their surname to their husband's name. This is an abomination in the deen
*#Abu,* why would you insist that your zaojah should change her surname?
You are her husband not father. Why claiming what is not yours?
Besides, she has her own ID card, before marriage, her certificates in education etc.
What would she do with them after changing her surname? Its illogical to change her name. She can marry another man after getting divorce from first one or after becoming widow.
So, will she keep on changing her surname?
Islam is natural and logical Religion. It gives rights to women too..
You might not be aware of it before, but the moment you know, you have to take heed and rectify it.

The Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
" *Whoever calls himself by other than his father’s name,* will be cursed by Allaah, the angels and all the people." *(Ibn Maajah -Saheeh by al-Albaani).*
"Any man who knowingly attributes himself to someone other than his father is guilty of kufr.* Whoever claims to belong to a people when he has nothing to do with them, let him take his place in Hell.”
