CALL YOUR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS TO OPPOSE THE #StudentBan. Here are some helpful scripts (either short or long), with thanks to help from many, especially @ThatSaraGoodman and @NazitaLajevardi: docs.google.com/document/d/1m7…
Don't know their #s? Call the Capitol Switchboard and ask to be connected to your representative/senators. The switchboard # is: 202-224-3121 (operators answer 24 hrs/day, 365 days/year).
You can also use contactingcongress.org to find your members of Congress & their #s.

Want to do more than call your members of Congress about the #StudentBan?
Thanks to @MiaMBloom, I also learned of this Twitter thread, which has great insights/instructions on HOW TO WRITE AN OP-ED IN YOUR LOCAL PAPER ABOUT THIS ISSUE:
Maybe you don't like talking on the phone? You can write an email (+ more) using this helpful document created by @devon_cantwell: docs.google.com/document/d/1Yj…
And maybe you want to do even more than what I've shared in this thread. Or maybe you need more background Check out this super helpful document, shared by @RoxanneRahnama: docs.google.com/document/u/0/d…
Using the long script shared above, it took me only 12 minutes to call the DC offices and leave messages for all three of my members of Congress (@KamalaHarris, @SenFeinstein, and @MarkTakano) to tell them that I oppose the #StudentBan.
