Just caught the @wpsg SENGKANG GRC broadcast. They touched on a some vote swinging issues:
- young parents and their woes (so many in Anchorvale, Fernvale), issues like childcare, and being sandwiched raising kids and looking after parents /1
- lack of neighbourhood social spaces, an issue I raised in a letter to ST in 2011 and saw my PAP MP about (to a fruitless end)
- basic infra to cater to bike and PMD riders (so many delivery riders in Sengkang) /2
- support for full-time caregivers/homemakers and recognition of their contributions
- providing support for less popular schools /3
All 4 came across as sincere but with young energy and gusto for +ve change.

I really really think they get us. I hope they get their chance in Parliament because they deserve a bigger platform to shine and reshape Singapore's path for the better. They have my support. I hope they have yours too. /E
