#Google #Pixel3XL phone continuous restarting issue - a thread. I've had this phone since last March. A few months ago it suddenly restarted and kept on rebooting. I managed to get to a bootup screen but couldn't pick an option because it kept restarting every few seconds. So I pulled out my SIM card, plugged it into my previous phone, an iPhone 6S, downloaded the necessary chat apps and other setup stuff while the Pixel kept rebooting. I found out where the SG service centre was - Aperia Level 2 - and made my way there.

Saw an elderly man making a face out of twigs. Pretty amazing. There are many ways to interpret this content I captured. I'd like express 3 of them. 1) We should take the time to notice our surroundings. People, places, things, nature. Some remain the same, others change in moments, others in decades. Appreciate and recognise change.

Been listening to Moby's current (new) album All Visible Objects quite a bit lately. Don't quite recall much of music post-Porcelain era but Pete Tong played a remix of My Only Love some weeks ago and I was re-intrigued. A good mix of repetitive electronic beats and samples, evocative vocals and distinctive arrangements. I think it's a pretty clever set of tracks. Notable ones 1. My Only Love, ethereal despondent singing, dramatic pauses and crescendoes.

Secondly, since PSC scholars will end up in the public service serving all walks and rungs of Singapore society, can PSC declare each scholarship awardee's family's socioeconomic status to ascertain if these kids can resonate with all classes?

Just caught the @wpsg SENGKANG GRC broadcast. They touched on a some vote swinging issues:
- young parents and their woes (so many in Anchorvale, Fernvale), issues like childcare, and being sandwiched raising kids and looking after parents /1 - lack of neighbourhood social spaces, an issue I raised in a letter to ST in 2011 and saw my PAP MP about (to a fruitless end)
- basic infra to cater to bike and PMD riders (so many delivery riders in Sengkang) /2

This is in today's Straits Times @STcom and depicts the WRONG way #dexamethasone works. 1/ When a person has #COVID19, his/her body reacts to produce inflammations and other symptoms. In serious advanced cases, these reaction ironically hinder the way the body can fight the virus. 2/

The bus stops outside #Sengkang #MRT are designed to get everyone wet when it rains. Yeah they look fancy but don't work when they need to. Doesn't @LTAsg or @URAsg do a UAT for these things? A guy at Bedok Mall FairPrice was wearing a Mr Jihad t-shirt, like those Mr Men shirts. The character had a bomb strapped on. I told him the shirt is very offensive and he shouldn’t wear it in public, that he’d get in a lot of trouble. He said he knew and seemed to laugh it off. How can a Singaporean adult be so bloody clueless? All these years of emphasising racial harmony as if it doesn’t matter. This guy could easily have started a riot.
