So many questions raised by this quote. Is it accurate? What’s its provenance? How were we ‘crushed’? Who was involved and what did they do? Where’s the #RussiaReport? Why isn’t the opposition demanding its release? Why kind of country would allow this to happen?

Also be interesting to know why the man this quote is attributed to had a cosy chat with Nigel Mosley-Farage back in the day

And Arron Banks too. What was he doing hanging out with a man who wanted to ‘crush’ the Brits? independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…

And why was Boris Johnson pals with Alexander Temerko - London-based energy tycoon and Tory Party donor who supported Brexit, worked with the ERG to oust May, and also alleged to be close to Russian intelligence? reuters.com/investigates/s…

And is it true, as the Washington Post once suggested, that the ‘Bad Boys of Brexit’ acted as “a conduit between the Kremlin and Trump’s operation”? washingtonpost.com/politics/how-t…

And what about Alexander Nix, former CEO of Cambridge Analytica/SCL? Here he is hanging out with Ambassador Yakovenko. Why were they so pally, given Cambridge Analytica’s alleged role in facilitating Trump...and Brexit?

Is it true that ‘Cambridge Analytica knowingly used Russian disinformation to help the Trump campaign win the 2016 election’ - and might have done the same with the Brexit Referendum?justsecurity.org/54142/cambridg…

Of course, if any of this is true, it would/should raise other questions. If Brexit is so good for us, why does Ambassador Yakovenko believe we are ‘crushed’ because of it? Would any self-respecting UK government want to do everything it could to avoid being ‘crushed’?

Wouldn’t it want to investigate any evidence pointing towards foreign involvement in a bitterly-divisive referendum that has poisoned British politics and left us dangerously vulnerable? Wouldn’t any ‘patriots’ who colluded in such involvement be guilty of lawbreaking & treason?

Wouldn’t the public and the whole political class be clamouring to #ReleaseTheRussiaReport?

Or are we frightened to find out that ‘Global Britain’ is a small, foolish, and corrupt country, drunk on hubris & nostalgia, that has allowed itself to be comprehensively played?
