I started advocating for improving #AcademicMentalHealth just over a year ago, and have been blown away with the community on here. I've worked on increasing awareness of mental health issues and reducing the stigma. Here is an outline of my projects ⬇️ 1/n

The #100voices campaign, where 100 brave researchers have come forward to tell you about their mental health journeys, because mental health is part of us all, and it doesn't make us any less of a researcher. You can find the full project here:

My mental health posters, covering various aspects of #AcademicMentalHealth from undergrad to professor. These are to act as talking points and start the conversation about mental health in academia - something that is prolific but seldom spoken about.

The Voices of Academia blog (voicesofacademia.com, @academicvoices) an international collaboration with @DrMarissaKate, to provide space for everyone to tell their story about mental health in academia. You are more than a statistic and your story needs to be heard. 4/n

The call to action, to create and use #AcademicMentalHealth as hashtag to create a community for people to share their experiences. We have to listen to others to work towards change. 5/n

Thank you all for being here - I wish my PhD self, on my darkest day, could see what light has come out of my experiences. Lots of fun and exciting projects to come - I cannot wait to share them with you all.💜6/n
