We're live with #StateofOurPortland - stay tuned for the spoken remarks! Jeff Selby is our announcer, and he brought Campaign Director Greg McKelvey on to speak. Greg starts with the story of how Sarah tapped him to help lead.

Following Sarah Iannarone "was the best choice I ever made." Not because she had all the answers, but because she knows who to talk to.

"It's not normal for somebody to pick a #BlackLivesMatter organizer to be her campaign director." - @GregoryMcKelvey on Sarah's choice. "In the primary we were consistently seen as the leading challenger."

Greg reads a statement from @deray who told him "You inspire me," for sticking with our values. Greg says: "In a one-on-one fight, versus @tedwheeler, we are not going to lose."

We have 2400+ donors. More than any campaign in Portland history. Our average donation hovers below $40. We were the first to ever qualify for Open Accountable Elections, which we did with more than 500 individual donors. Without OAE, we couldn't do this.

The way Wheeler has chosen to fund his campaign has been found to be illegal. It represents who Ted Wheeler is willing to listen to, versus Sarah Iannarone. We've capped donations at $250, and Sarah listens to $5 donors. The people with Wheeler's ear are the wealthy.

This campaign is built by people power. Not the Portland Business Alliance. Not the Portland Police Association. You.
