But a just recovery requires full employment. It requires rising wages - after all, the working class hasn't seen a raise in a generation. It requires environmental justice. It requires reclaiming the economy for the people.
Rather than a one-time infusion of capital, this stimulus should be automatically renewed at 4% of GDP per year until the economy is fully decarbonized and the unemployment rate is consistently below 3.5%.

It's time to pass a massive green stimulus. We need to go big. We need it to automatically renew until the job is done. We need it to create full employment by generating millions of family-sustaining union jobs. And we need it to prioritize frontline communities.
Other complementary measures are needed.

Congress needs to actually address the pub health crisis
Congress needs to send $$$ to state/local governments + schools
Congress needs to send everyone another check
