Yesterday afternoon I attended a protest against police brutality. I listened to the concerns of the dedicated activists that have been on the ground for weeks.
This is what I learned from them. They want to end qualified immunity, end the drug war, and fair policing.

These are the solutions that libertarians have been advocating for. I listened to their concerns, understood their concerns, and empathized with them.

This allowed us to have a meaningful conversation about these issues that affect everyone, but disproportionately affect people of color and other marginalized communities.

As we were leaving, we came across a group of well-armed CNN bois and spoke with them briefly. They were handing out Black Lives Matter pamphlets and expressed that they were there to support and defend the legitimate protestors against state-sanctioned violence.

You can see firsthand how Americans are coming together to assert their rights and demand a fair and accountable government
