We can be authentic without seeking validation. This by itself is an aspect of politics which generally is a game of authenticity in climes where votes actually count. Our society is one where political fetuses & aberrations of the worst kind are stampeded to power with glee.
They then go ahead to create an identity politics of hate that sells poverty as a virtue via subliterates waitlisted with the forlorn hope of attaining fulfilment via appointments that further enslave them. Our youth place Spectacle over Substance and Demonizes anyone that sees.
You need no permission from any man (gender neutral collective) born of a woman to express leadership from where you are. It also have nothing to do with ballot boxes or printing posters. We are all created with the potential to lead should we choose to take responsibility.
Your integrity matters more than they temptation to chase after external validation. Your realizing all these is what makes you a threat to the powers that be thus qualified for targeted harassment. You are stealing their thunder if you can’t even controlled or owned.
Anyone who ask you to dim your light just so they can shine is not a leader. We all can shine brighter in our area of confidence and share same light with others to brighten our world. No tree makes a forest. We are all in this together. Confront your fears. Be real to you.
You’re not sucking anyone’s political oxygen by serving your nation from where you are. Stop apologizing for being real to people who can no longer remember their actual faces having worn masks all their lives. Stand for something & taste manifestation. #YouAreEnough ⛱
