Being America’s Contingency Corps only works if we can get where we’re going and get there quickly. The 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) works to get our forces (@3rd_Infantry, @101stAASLTDIV, @10MTNDIV) where we’re needed.

And the “Wings Of The Airborne” (@82ndCAB) provides air assault, air movement, attack, reconnaissance, and MEDEVAC capability.

@82ndABNDiv's change of command ceremony earlier this month.

Earlier this year, elements from the 7th Transportation Bde. headed south - all the way south - to support operations in Antarctica.

This type of operation is known as a JLOTS - Joint Logistics Over-The-Shore. The 7th Transportation Brigade can move LOTS of stuff in a JLOTS op.
