Few weeks later, I met this guy and because I was trying to get over the pain I decided to give him a listening ear plus I knew him before then, we got talking since we lived in the same town we decided to meet for a reunion.
I hate going late for meetings so I was early, he came few minutes later, I have not seen him for a longggg time and I expected him to look better lol, leave this gist🤣
Next thing, Unku told me he expected more from me Ah I was confused, he went ahead to say I looked slim blah blah but he can manage, manage who? I told him I cannot be managed, closed the meeting and every single feeling disappeared!
A friend also shared an experience of how the guy she was dating complained bitterly about the size of her hips😂 Hain!! This was how Hanty entered one chance, she started working out seriously to put on hips Edakun I cannot, somebody that you have not married sef😏
Refuse to be managed sis, you are wonderfully and fearfully made!
How can you be complaining about somebody's height, shape of face, size of nose when you know it is not her doing and you want to manage her on top the matter Haba naw🙄 Refused to be managed!
Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, if a man loves you he will accept you the way you are! I did not ask you to look unkept or have a bad behavior an expect him to love you like that.
Work on yourself, dress well, be well behaved stop asking people to love you they way you are when you behave badly and dress tataredly.
You don't have to wear designers to look good, you can buy okirika (second hand clothes) wash them and you will still look good!
Build on your confidence sis, this is my point, don't let anyone force you into changing your values or bringing down your standards. Don't bleach your skin because he said he doesn't like you dark, it is not your making. Refuse to be managed!
So many ladies lost their confidence because they let people manage them,they begin to look for ways to please those people in order to keep the relationship or friendship
Dont lose your value for anyone work on becoming a better person and don't let anyone make you feel less!
