... Dividing line between #Pakistan and #India. This delta area is located #South of Rann of Kutch.
The dispute between both counties is about a tidal chnnal that is known as “Sir Creek”.

The Present problem between Pakistan and India arises from their differing interpretations of the boundary line dividing Sir Creek. India maintains that this line should run through “Middle” of the creek.

By referring to “Thalweg Doctrine” in International Law, India sports its case according to which the river boundaries between states are divided by the mid channel. India also stated that the border from the mouth of Sir Creek should run on western side.....

....while according to Pakistan, it should run on eastern bank of creek. Pakistan doesn't agree to the “Thalweg Doctrine's” reference by India bcz this doctrine is applicable to navigable and creek is not navigable

2) Map of 1937, approved by Surveyor General of India
