I had to take a break for awhile & practice self-care.
I spent my time in my flower garden & worked on my covid tan.
Feeling the sun, watching the birds & butterflies go by...does wonders.
4 Stalks & 13 beautiful & fragrant blooms!
Stargazer Lillie's - 1st year grown in a pot.
Hello! Blue wildflower. I have no idea what it is.
Hubby redid my flower bed & upset my dahlias so I potted them. She has about 20 blooms right now.
Wildflower
Just a visitor stopping by & grabbing some lunch!π
My garden is teaming with life!
Thanks to @mikes_booh who lovingly gifted my garden with the hummingbird feeder.
They lurve it!ππ¦π
Hummingbird stopped by to get a drink!
Gazania's
Succulent is blooming! It's long & separating into all these blooms.
I have no idea what kind it is...
Hubs created...he rooted them himself from last year's plants.
Sincerity Dahlia! She's a beauty!
Buzzing By!
Feeling the love!
A new addition when hubs gathered seeds from the white, red, purple & pink petunias last year.
Only 2 left out of 13 to bloom!
I found a way to keep the moles from ruining my flower beds this year...I put rocks down. So far so good! One tried the other day to lift up a flower pot...after 4 tries, he gave up!π
While hunkered down in my yard & hanging out with my flowery friends...one gains perspective...make each day count. Don't let the sun go down without sharing the love.
Love in bloom!
A dove nesting in my FIL's geranium pot outside their front door...she usually fly's away...the last time she didn't.
MIL has been in & out of hospital & rehab since early June. She's still not home yet. Perhaps this dove is waiting for her return...
Caught quite a few sunsets...
The days gave me much to appreciate.
Huge Asiatic Lillie's!
Enjoying the view!
I don't know what happened to my daisies this year...but I only had a few bloom so far.
Sometimes...you have to look up!π
Asiatic Lillies also grown in pots.
Had to catch a quick breeze!
Been trying to capture this butterfly for some time now...
Worked on a few garden projects...need a hanging plant for this...
Potted Hydrangeas
Love blooms in many ways & forms.
Teamwork...kudos to hubs for his arrangement!
I have this palm on the side of the house & one day I happened to look out the window & saw this...interesting how they grow!
Even when life throws you curve balls...always take time & appreciate the little things that make you happy.π
Every day I find something that makes me smile & reminds me there is so much more to appreciate & love.
I keep planting those seeds & hoping to reap a bountiful harvest!
xoxo
