The unintended consequences coming out of the multi-trillion dollar, fiscal - monetary policy cocktail are ripping around the planet. Coupled with pandemic side effects - shipping costs are telling us bond yields should be much higher.

Opec and Russia agreed to an output cut of 9.7m barrels a day, 10% of global output. Add to that a 2m b/d drop in production from US oil explorers in the second quarter of this year and the conditions were in place for the supply overhang to evaporate.
