The format of this remote DNC is really well done; I am enjoying paying attention to what everyone has to say without the distraction of the crowds - just pure words, earnestness, and righteousness. What we call "pono" in Hawaii.

The Klob is a good loyal Democrat. I love her clear advocacy for Joe Biden. I am a little sidetracked by the fact that i have watched the Klob so often, I recognize the top she's wearing with the blue suit.

Bernie is being very clear: "At its most basic, this election is about preserving our democracy." He warns against authoritarians & says he will work with all people, even conservatives, to save us. If the deadenders don't get the message, I don't know what will convince them.

In addition to the diversity of faces, colors, and races we are seeing tonight, we are also hearing a diversity of accents from across America and I love it all.
Michelle Obama will always be the best FLOTUS of my lifetime and just the sight of her, and hearing her voice makes me feel overcome. "The job is hard" she says of the presidency..."Being president doesn't change who you are; it reveals who you are." This is powerful.
I already know I need to re-listen to this speech by Michelle Obama a few times. She is softly yet righteously carving up Trump's lack of character into tiny little pieces.
Michelle Obama seems to grasp the sadness we all feel -- the depression and trauma and anger we are all carrying. Every word is channelling what we all feel.
Michelle Obama makes the case that Donald Trump is incapable of being president. Says "it is what it is." (I screamed when she said that). Says we have to vote for Joe Biden because our lives depend on it. And that's the God's honest truth.
The best FLOTUS of my lifetime is right: We need to vote in numbers that overwhelm the polls, so that no attempted cheating and suppression by Trump can overcome us. Put on your mask, pack a dinner, be willing to stand in line all night if you have to, she says. And she's right.
Michelle Obama is the voice of moral conscience in this country and this speech is phenomenal. I pity all those who will have to try to live up to this standard.
FYI: My Chardonnay is from California because west coast is the best coast.
