Propane Jane: It's such a huge message [to have a woman of color be nominated VP]. In terms of how things shook out, being the base of the Democratic party, & how that primary was experienced by my demographic, all the candidates of color were gone too soon.

Propane Jane: The base of the party has been showing up election after election, changing how things work in the gov't. I don't think people paused to consider if there were other candidates besides Biden that my demographic would want.

Propane Jane: There was a very super-predator type cyber attack on Kamala Harris. She, Warren, & Beto had the highest volume of hits on Twitter that were effective within the black community.

Propane Jane: Kamala Harris is proud to stand on her record in criminal justice, & Biden was proud to take it on as well. Both of them are very willing to own up to their records.

Propane Jane: I found out only 1% of psychiatrists are black. That's the only time I'll be a one percenter.

Propane Jane: Based on my situation, I'm going to look at things differently than a white man or even a white woman would. I want people to have psychiatrists who can relate to them.

Propane Jane: If I have a patient who speaks Spanish, I want them to have a Spanish-speaking psychiatrist so nothing is lost in the conversation.

Propane Jane: When they rammed the tax sham through, it was obvious it was going to be a disaster. You couldn't give all that money to people who didn't need it & hope for a good outcome. Now we have the pandemic on top of that.

Propane Jane: You'd have to fix being robbed blind in order to fix the other stuff. It's a cluster to have all these problems being actively agitated at the same time from the top.

Propane Jane: We've seen these movements in American history before, along with similar types of demographic change. I started paying attn to this when Bill Clinton was in office. Things were more diverse.

Propane Jane: Waco, OKC bombing were in response to Clinton's going on Arsenio to play his saxophone; Clinton was called the first black president. I think a lot of this stuff is cropping back up.

Propane Jane: One of the running gags about Trump this whole time is that he has problem with his gait; stairs give him problems. I think he wanted Melania's hand at the top of the stairs to help steady him. She couldn't do it--she hates him that much.

Rick: Trump's brother died this weekend but Trump went golfing.
Propane Jane: He's reptilian in his interpersonal relationships. He isn't really close to people, I think. When asked for comments, Trump said his brother liked him--he made it all about himself.
