In June 2020, we were proud to stand as an ally to the #BlackLivesMatter protests. At the time we pledged to turn our words into action. Since then we've been working to acknowledge past failings and identify ways to grow and improve. 2/
We have since employed consultants on black and minority ethnic inclusion to help us make the right change in the right way. We are determined to build a stronger charity, better-equipped to ensure we're supporting everyone's needs equally. 3/
We're determined to make lasting change. There will be tough questions. We thank the #BlackLivesMatter movement for holding a mirror to our work. As a trans charity we deal with discrimination every day & our commitment to equality and diversity starts at home. 4/
