These are all part of the #LNULightningComplex in Napa, Sonoma, Lake, Yolo & Solano Counties
✅Total size Complex (5 fires) is 131,000 acres (up from 124,100)
✅1 death (PG&E employee)
✅4 civilian injuries

✅30,500 structures are threatened (probably more than that now)
✅105 have been destroyed
✅70 have been damaged

🌥Hot and dry
🌥Breezy W-NW winds will lead to critical fire conditions
🌥NW winds in valley areas w/gusts up to 15 mph
🌥Strongest winds @ ridges, gaps & saddles w/gusts up to 20 mph

THE SITUATION
📌Critically dry fuels due to drought. These fuels ignite easily from embers and heat spots from old lightning strikes
📌Possible we will see large plumes and smoke again today
📌Steep and rugged terrain in most areas where the fires are burning

Started by lightning strike 8/17 near Lake Hennessey. Threatening a large portion of Napa County, Vacaville and Fairfield. Northern part burning south, west of Lake Berryessa, and east towards Hwy 16 and valley floor. Southern part spreading east and south.

Threatening Aetna Springs & Angwin. Could merge with Hennessey. Burns south towards Three Peaks and Angwin and SE to Pope Valley.

I know structures have been lost, unknown number.
