At Mount Sinai emergency room with mom, her breathing has deteriorated dramatically. They are running tests now.😫
Update: Her hemoglobin is low and her heart enzymes are high.☹️
Update: They admitted her and they will be running more tests over the weekend. I will go visit her first thing in the morning. She is in good hands.
Update: On Monday, mom will require a procedure performed to remove fluid from her chest cavity. Her doctors are not sure what is causing the fluid. Also, they are not certain she is a diabetic. We will know more on Monday but mom is in good spirits.😫
Update: Mom looks and sounds better today. They removed the fluid from her chest cavity and her breathing has improved. We are waiting on the results from tissue samples they took yesterday.
Update: The preliminary results came back an hour ago and the tissue sample was cancerous. The oncologist will meet with mom in the morning and discuss the next steps. She is still in good spirits and she told me she is ready to fight it. Please keep her in your prayers.☹️😢
