Thread: Dropping out of medical school was terrifying.
For money, I had to do something embarrassing; door-to-door sales in my hometown... calling on doctors who all knew me.

I didnt know where my career was going but knew my intuition was guiding me in the right direction.
I decided I wanted to get into medical devices. I was told I had no experience but I kept applying, reaching out, and staying positive.
I got my first break as a sales rep at Mazor Robotics (now acq. by @Medtronic ). I still didn’t know where I was going but stayed patient and trusted my intuition.
A year later, I was promoted to US marketing manager. I was unsure about marketing but I was good at it.
The role had a massive scope of duties. From shipping robotic systems to marketing meetings with hospital admin, I was doing everything.
But I was also learning everything.
I was a young man figuring out the system.
And magically it also helped me figure “me” out.
When you follow your intuition it’s scary. It never gives details but it’s always right.
You don’t need to see ahead 10 steps; you just need the next step. Your intuition will guide you if you trust the process.
You don't have to be great to start, but you do have to start to be great.
