1/ Some food for thought: you all know how modernity is (or was rather) the age of reason, aka "enlightenment". The idea was that there is an objective reality that could be understood by the subjective mind...

... It came about, not because some wise people suddenly woke up and decided that "oh my God, its so simple, all we need to do is observe the universe and think and btw we don't actually need God for that". Although that is how the story goes in the history books...

...it came about for a reason unknown and the idea spread like a virus. People didn't suddenly get convinced, no. They started to believe for whatever reason people believe in stuff. A lot of people never knew they became "enlightened" they just were...

... but here's the thing: that belief system is behind us now. Where and how we abandoned a firm belief in an objective and knowable universe is kinda lost in time (but if I were you I'd blame the Copenhagen interpretation of Quantum Theory), abandon that belief most did...

...the new paradigm, if you are inclined to use that ugly word, states that there is NO objective reality only the subjective self that experiences... something. This is the individual turning all its attention inside, abandoning all significance attributed to the outside..

... And this is how you get men who declare themselves women and criminals who declare themselves the victims and an expectation that you should accept their inner world as valid...

...This new age is called postmodern, but what it truly is, is an endarkenment. A fading of the light and reason. An age where emotion thinks it can create.
But it can't. Now, you should try and go out into objective reality and try to stop this madness. I'll walk with you.
