- #Russia will recognize the "referenda"
- Russia is at war with #NATO in the #Ukraine
- Partial mobilization of reservists
- Shoigu orders the mobillization of 300K conflict veterans. - Reservists that are called up will have the status of "serving under contract" -> can be deployed outside Russia.
- The nuclear threat verbatim "if Russia's territorial integrity and her people are threatened, we will use all available means to" This is not new.

Putin does want Trump over Biden. The riots are supposed to play into the hands of the law and order candidate. If they fail to help Trump to win electoral victory, they will have still left Biden's America scarred and weakened...

The idea was that there is an objective reality that could be understood by the subjective mind... ... I recommend to shut up, and watch what happens. If the Russian vaccine works, buy it. It is not surprising that the political left will use everything in its ideological struggle. But people must remain clear sighted.
It doesn't matter who developed the vaccine, what matters whether or not it works and whether or not its safer than no vacvine...

1/ There is persistent discussion, half in jest, between conservative westerners about moving away from all the postmodern nonsense plaguing your countries. And for some, Hungary seems to be the preferred destination. In this thread, I'd like to point out a few things.. I am not going to make jokes about this, we will probably take many of you guys. You are people who have proven yourselves to be self-reliant, an asset to whatever economy you operate within. But it must be clear that we can't take all of you...

1/ On the elections in #Poland. With Pres #Duda leading with more votes than are left uncounted we know he has been reelected. His reelectino come despite unőrecedented foreign meddling in a European election. #German media and global advocacies ran a vicious campaign of hate.. and disinformation including outright deliberate lies against the incumbent president. I'd like to focus on one. These liars claimed that Pres Duda was dehumanizing homosexuals, based on him saying that LGBTQ was propagand. Clearly the LGBTQ lobby is pushing an agend..

1/ During their televised and streamed conference PM #Orban, PM #Janša and President #Vucic spoke about the present and future of #Europe. They agreed that #COVID19 and potential mass uncontrolled migration pose significant risks... ... Pres. Vučić touched on the fact that #Serbia recieved little to no assistance form the #EU in the early days and weaks of the crisis. He regreted the fact that when he pointed this out the liberal press launched into a concerted baseless criticism of him and his country...

1/ People trying to export #BLM to Hungary (and any of the V4 countries) face two insurmountable problems. 1) It is inconceivable that any police officer here would act in the way Derek Chauvin (nomen est omen if I ever saw one) acted... ..2) we never had any colonial heroes to erect statues for.
Now, 2) is the luck of the draw I guess. I don't imagine our forefathers would have passed on the opportunity to procure some colonies, people being people and all..

My take on the riots and mass protests in the US in this week's issue of the Hungarian conservative weekly "Magyar Demokrata", availbale to all who would brave the pandemic and come to Hungary to pick up a copy. Since that's not many of you guys... ...here's the gist:
I call the current state of affairs a "cold civil war" and identify its main cause in the weakening and in some cases crumbling of four of the several pillars of American society...

So here's the thing about "Human Rights". To posit the existence of universal human rights is to posit the existence of abstractions (the rights themselves) that are universal to everyone regardless of the objective reality people find themselves in. This seems fanciful... Much better than to declare some aspirations that we all share: people's economic, personal and political freedom should tend towards expansion and so should the collective freedom of communities. All this should not be to the detriment of social tranquility. Tall order...

1/ So on this "transgender" nonsense, bc it apparently genuinely bothers people. First of all nature does not know this phenomenon. You either have XX chromosomes or XY chromosomes. Some truly unlucky people get an irregular combination. They are what we call "intersex".. .. they genuinely are given a tough deal and society should accommodate them. They are also far less than 1% of everybody. If, however, you are born with regular XX chromosomes and imagine yourself that your sexuality nevertheless fluctuates according to heavenly pulses...
