These past several days I have tried to come up with the right words to express my feelings about yet another in a long and ugly chain of egregious, brutal acts against Black Americans by those who are supposed to assure safety for EVERYONE.

Sadness, frustration, anger, repulsion, sickness. While I feel all of these things, there is something much deeper that I cannot express in words. I want to do something. I want answers. What can I do to help stop the killing of fellow Americans? What can we all do?

How do we cure those infected by racism, the worst of all diseases of the heart? How do we heal as a nation? How do we become one? How do we achieve justice? What is our national agenda to stop deep ignorance and hatred about and against Black Americans? What is our plan?

We should all be demanding answers every day. We should all do whatever we can within our power to stop the slaughter. I stand with Black Americans, because Black Lives Matter. But just saying this is not enough …….
