Regarding the readings going back all the way to the Prophet PBUH, we don't have Hadith-style narrations that the Prophet read/taught/approved every single word/variant.
Most of the narrations we have regarding readings attributed to the Prophet are weak according to Hadith standard.
That's understandable since we rely heavily on oral tradition.
We do have authentic narrations that the Prophet taught some of his companions and that he asked his learned companions to teach others...
Even when the Sahabah had disagreements in the recitation of the Qur'an, they would ask one another: Who taught you this way? Both parties would reply that they learned directly from the Prophet.
As for the reading of Ibn 'Amir, I would suggest the following books:
