Today marks the two-month anniversary of our Supreme Court victory in June Medical v. Russo. Here's a refresher about the decision....

On June 29th, #SCOTUS ruled that Louisiana's law, which would have required abortion providers to have admitting privileges at local hospitals, was unconstitutional.

The Court’s 5-4 decision in this case made it clear that states CANNOT use deceptive medical regulations to shut down clinics.

While this ruling means that the three remaining clinics in Louisiana can remain open, the fight to protect abortion access is far from over.

This is the second time in four years that we've challenged an abortion restriction at the Supreme Court—and won. Rest assured that we won't stop fighting because we know choosing to have an abortion is #MyRightMyDecision.

As our president and CEO Nancy Northup said on the day of the decision, "We will be back in court tomorrow and will continue to fight state by state, law by law to protect our constitutional right to abortion."
