#BREAKING: We're taking #Tennessee to court. Here's what you need to know:
Joined by @PPFA, @ACLU and @aclutn, we're asking a federal court to block a law that forces doctors to provide false and misleading information to patients about the potential to "reverse" a medication abortion.
This is an unproven and purely politically motivated claim with ZERO BASIS in research.
This law forces doctors to lie to patients and share misinformation that isn’t backed up by credible science.
If passed, providers will be required to post signs promoting abortion “reversal” throughout their clinics and reinforce this idea through in-person consultations with patients–or face exorbitant fines and criminal prosecution.
