Y’all, fake clinics are in the news again, so let’s talk about how they’re filled with liars who prey on pregnant people and try to scare them out of having abortions! #ExposeFakeClinics theslot.jezebel.com/mike-pence-to-…
Let’s start with the “abortion causes breast cancer” lie. Here are the hoops that the fake clinic Pence is visiting jumps through on its website to arrive at “MAYBE you might get breast cancer if you have an abortion, MAYBE. We're just putting it out there." #ExposeFakeClinics
ONE, it is nuts to say the hormones you get from pregnancy make it automatically worth it to continue an unwanted pregnancy. Are you kidding? Do you know how many complications are associated with pregnancy? #ExposeFakeClinics
TWO, this paragraph reveals how disingenuous their scare tactics are. They find a story where two completely unrelated things happen and are like “See, she had an abortion and got hit by a bus. COINCIDENCE?” forbes.com/sites/alicebro…
Fake clinics present a funhouse mirror version of reality (and also, again, straight up lies). If you look at this clinic’s site they also say your cervix COULD get torn, you COULD get an infection, you COULD not have another baby, you COULD die. #ExposeFakeClinics
Imagine the fucking outrage if at an abortion clinic the doctors were like “Well actually you COULD die with any pregnancy, so you better just always have an abortion to be safe.” I mean, COME ON! #ExposeFakeClinics
Watch the amazing doc “12th and Delaware” to see the horrible tactics fake clinics use and their equally awful repercussions. #ExposeFakeClinics hbo.com/documentaries/…
And if you want to take action now, sign our petition and demand fake clinics give back their #COVID19 aid money. Because you shouldn’t keep getting rewarded for lying to people! #ExposeFakeClinics bit.ly/2CltV2S
