About 3 dozen people are currently outside the University of Chicago Provost's home drawing chalk messages on the street. Folks are demanding the defunding of the UofC police department. #Chicago #ChicagoProtests

Students and community memebers have been occupying this area around the UofC Provosts for the last 5 days. Tables full of provisions and bedding can been seen on neighbors lawns. Neighbors have been accommodating and helping out the activists. #Chicago #ChicagoProtests

Activists are shutting down S. Geenwood Ave. with bikes, cones, tents, and tables in front of two UofC Police officers and a Chicago police supervisor. #Chicago #ChicagoProtests
