Okay my friends, please if you see this tweet, don't scroll without re-tweeting.

If your ACNE is inflamed, I mean RED, TENDER, PAINFUL, STUBBORN CYSTIC ACNE, etc. You know how irritating they look like on your face. ICE CUBES CAN PERFORM MAGIC ON IT.

See thread #skinherball

By reducing the inflammation of your pimples, you're directly reducing the size. In theory, gradually reducing the size of your pimple with ice can eventually make it go away entirely. When used on inflammatory acne, ice also has the potential to decrease redness, thereby making

Your acne less noticeable. Icing pimples can work by reducing swelling in inflammatory forms of acne. These include:

cysts
nodules
pustules
papules

Ice is unlikely to work for noninflammatory types — these are also known as blackheads. By reducing the inflammation of your pimples, you’re directly reducing the size.

Despite these benefits, there’s no research available to indicate that ICE ALONE is an effective treatment

For inflamed acnes. Ice should be considered as a part of a smart skin care routine if you have inflamed acne.

Your routine should be;

regular cleansing
a moisturizer designed for your skin type.
noncomedogenic makeup.

So before placing the ice on your skin, cleanse first, wrap it in a thin cloth or thick paper towel.

Apply the ice to your pimples in 1min only. If your pimple is extremely inflamed, you can follow up with multiple minutes, just make sure you leave about five minutes in between

Each minute to avoid skin damage.

Do you understand? Let me analyze again.

If your acne is extremely inflamed, rub ice on it for a minute. Wait 4/5 more minute before you rub again and again. this is because ice can make your skin dry if rubbed on your skin

For long time. So give it some minutes to cool.

For maximum benefit too, you can soak a clean towel in hot water, dab on your face to open your pores and remove dirt's for like 5mins, then rub ice on it for a minute. This will decrease inflammation and swelling. You can repeat

This process everyday.

Though it's tempting, but never try to pop your pimples with your hands. It will cause scars and more inflammation. I hope this thread was helpful.
