*Thread* What do Jewish groups make of the Labour Representation Committee (LRC), a far-left outfit with John McDonnell as President?

The Board of Deputies of British Jews has frank words: the LRC champions some of the worst figures in the Labour party's antisemitism crisis. 1/6

The Jewish Labour Movement (JLM) has said the LRC "are feeding the problem" by "condoning and nurturing this racism in our party". 2/6

In another statement earlier this year, the JLM was forthright: “It is evident that the LRC should not be tolerated any longer by honest Labour Party members and yes be expelled from the party." 3/6

The Campaign Against Antisemitism has spoken up as well, calling the LRC on its "long history of belittling claims of antisemitism, publishing extremely disturbing articles and holding events with Jew-baiters." 4/6

Well, indeed. The LRC is atrocious. Proudly so.

See an example for yourself if you will. "Outrage as NEC blocks Chris Williamson" - that was the LRC's reaction when the party finally decided the arch Jew baiter Williamson should not be one of its MPs. 5/6

So what does Jeremy Corbyn make of the LRC, alongside Laura Pidcock and Wirral councillor and NEC candidate Jo Bird? You will not be surprised. New management, same old poison. 6/6
