A reminder why smoke alarms matter. Heard theirs going off. Peaked over the fence. Saw flames. Made the call.

The downside is that #notMyCat stayed with us last night because of the lingering smoke smell.
And now he's nested in my legs and I can't get up. 😭😭😭
He deserves a snooze though. He was pawing at the patio door, which made me take off my gaming headphones to open it, which made me hear the alarm, then smell burning outside and investigate.

He went straight to the kitchen though, so I doubt his motives.
Especially as he's been watching me play a LOT of @CrusaderKings lately. I have a lingering suspicion he may have started it to try and get rid of the dog.
Tried to move my leg and gradually ease myself out. Position has been altered to make it clear this is NOT ALLOWED.
