More than 200 protesters outside South LA LASD station demanding justice for #DijonKizzee. About 75 deputies in riot gear stand guard yards away.

Pastor Eddie Anderson stands on flatbed in front of LASD’s South LA station demanding whichever deputies killed #DijonKizzee be fired and prosecuted.

The cousin of #DijonKizee struggles to get out her thanks to the crowd for their support.
“I am angry. We are angry. The family is angry.”

#DijonKizzee’s friends and family want to show who he was as a person. This friend says he supported her through her journey to get a degree in criminal justice.

She ends her comments with: “Don’t let them get their hands on you.”

Protesters regroup and begin march down Imperial Highway in name of #DijonKizzee

Before the march started, I talked to Donnell Russell, Kizzee’s cousin by marriage. He wants the deputies who killed him prosecuted but also talked about the futility of the situation.

“Naming those 2 doesn’t really make a difference, they’re hiring 2 more.”

Shaneika Hall, cousin to #DijonKizzee, saves her greatest concern for Kizzee’s 18 yo brother Sean.

“He’s quiet. He has no words. He has no tears yet.”

Marchers for #DijonKizzee are blocking part of the 110. @bfeinzimer is there.
