I've known GEN McConville since I was a Captain. I know that like me he feels the loss of every soldier that fell under his command. I know his kids serve now. Any idiot that thinks a soldier goes to war for arms makers or otherwise is an idiot. Especially the coward Trump.
It's a diversion. Now he announces troop withdrawals from Iraq and Afghanistan without strategy or reason. He is just running around trying to divert us from the fact he has always hated people who serve. Even his denials have confirmed the contempt he feels deep in his bones.
He went to Dover four times in four years. Once he brought Jon Voight who happened to be visiting the White House. Another time he swung by on the way back from a MAGA rally with a plane full of his bootlickers. We are props for his ego and campaign.
Don't fall for the "look a shiny ball" bullshit. Trump is scared and desperate because now we finally see the truth about his fake patriotism. We see through the con. We see through the diversions. No amount of humping the flag changes his lifelong disdain for military service.
Don't let off the pressure. Reporters need to ask him about his fake bone spurs. Ask him what he told Fred Trump, Jr. about joining the National Guard. Ask him why he couldn't bother to go to Dover but lied about it being "many times". Hold him accountable! Don't fall for his BS.
