The #OakFire was first reported at 12:16 PM on 9/7 burning off Big John Rd north of #Willits. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

✅25% containment
✅2 structures lost
✅800 threatened

🔥Area is under a Fuels & Fire Behavior Advisory as of 9/7 for extremely dry fuels
🔥Steep and rugged terrain, drainages can funnel wind into faster MPH

#OAKFIRE Damage Inspection Teams have started surveying area and confirmed number of structures damaged/destroyed may change.

Right now it says 2 structures destroyed/0 damaged. It's more and there have been damaged structures.
