The other important anniversary for U.K. feminists happening today: it’s 3 years since the assault on Maria McLachlan, at Speakers’ Corner, in London #MariaMcLachlan

Maria was standing with a group of women, waiting for instructions of how to get to the secret venue where a feminist event to discuss proposed GRA Reform, was being held. They were being protested by a rowdy group of trans activists #MariaMcLachlan

The trans activists were chanting; Dr Julia Long was singing through a megaphone. #MariaMcLachlan, whom had never attended a feminist event, and simply wanted to understand the arguments surrounding GRA Reform, decided to take a picture of the crowd of transactivists

This infuriated the transactivists. One of them tried to steal her camera, but it was attached by a wrist strap. #MariaMcLaclan tried to get a clearer picture of the transactivists that had just attempted to mug her

The transactivists returned to try to steal the camera, and destroy the evidence of his criminality. #MariaMcLachlan held onto the camera, and struggled with the transactivists. The camera was thrown to the ground and destroyed

Another transactivist, Tara Flick Wood, a slim, Male, 6’ tall 26(?) year old, had already expressed he wanted to “f*ck up some TERFs”, on Facebook. He lunged at #MariaMcLachlan, and thumped her

Tara Flick Wood was convicted, after a travesty of a trial, where #MariaMcLachlan was informed that her refusal to pretend her attacker was female, meant she was not awarded higher damages dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5…

Being told by the Judge to call her attacker “she”, in line with the recommendations in his Bench Book, highlighted the threat to free expression inherent in gender ideology. It woke many of us up #MariaMcLachlan telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/04/1…

Tanis/Tara Flick Wood/Wolf, is often seen on anti-fracking demonstrations, or anywhere he can cause conflict. He was diagnosed with “Oppositional Defiant Disorder” as a child, and grew up into an Antisocial Personality diagnosis. #MariaMcLachlan

I’m convinced that the attack on #MariaMcLachlan won’t be the only violence against women that he perpetrates. Feminist analysis of that violence is impossible, if we are forced to conceive of him as ‘female’ fairplayforwomen.com/pronouns/
