There is an acceptable way of life or conduct for every believer and beyond that, every kingdom minded believer should have this traits.
TRAIT: A distinguishing quality of a person or character.
- There's a way a responsible follower of Christ should comport him/her self.
- A serious believer will want to please and honor God with his life.
BELIEVER'S TRAIT
1. Simplicity
2Corinthians 1:18-25; 11:3
- The message of the cross is simple; believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.
- Either on the mountain top or in your room, God answers prayers.
- Many think if it is miraculous, it must be dramatic and if its not dramatic, power is not available. It's not all miracles Jesus did were dramatic. Luke 17:11-14
- Every miracle starts immediately but not all have an evident instantaneous result.
2. Sincerity
1Timothy 1:5
- Sincerity replicates itself. The message of the cross and the conduct of our life should be with sincerity.
- God requires truthful and sincere commitment to Him. Galatians 6:8
- Sincerity of Faith helps a man to please God and walk with him. Hebrews 11:6; Acts 5:1-4
3. Satisfaction
Hebrews 13:5
- Being contented with the level and state God have put you in.
- In this Christian race, the only competition you are in is with yourself.
2Corinthians 10:12; 3:1-2; 12:5; Romans 12:3
- Identify what your grace and calling is and work on it. Matthew 24:15
- Although we desire more from God, we should be satisfied with what He has granted.
Be sincere in your service, giving and relationship with God. And for whatever He has given you, be satisfied.
Appreciate God for His word today, for they are Yea and Amen.
Believe His word and pray for grace to develop this traits.
Whatever way you have patterned your life and is not in conformity with God's word. Ask for mercy today.
Prayer: Enable me Lord to live a life pleasing to you. Grant me grace and strength to please you daily.
