Whenever God is leading or directing you to do something, please don't snub it, don't procastinate! If you hear jump, please jump! If you hear stop! Please stop! Delayed obedience is not total obedience.
It was mid-term break but we couldn't go home because it was just for 2 days and home was far, so I and my roommate stayed back in school with some other students.
Since exams was at the corner she suggested we go to class and read, at least make good use of the break😃 but I just didn't feel like leaving the house so I suggested we read I the room, she persisted and I just reluctantly agreed.
I decided to hurriedly take my bath since she was prepared already but a voice kept saying don't go! God forgive my disobedience I still followed. Just few minutes after we left, we met with robbers! Broad day light😥
Ah, I was so confused sef, they stood with guns demanding for my two weeks old phone, I refused o! I started telling her the gun is fake! Tried running back, two others held me, trying to collect my bag, punching me just to get what they wanted.
I decided to hand over the phone to them after the gun man hit the gun on my head! It was a terrible experience, we started shouting after they left, meanwhile some people watching from their balconies came to ask what kind of phone, as in you stood there all this while!
People sha, they could have shouted at least😏I am thankful God still saved me, I tried tracking the phone since it was new, my roommate's phone was also new too but to no avail, my parents adviced me to let it go! This is what disobedience can cause!
Some of us feel the urge to pray or speak in tongues yet we will procrastinate, you hear God saying pray for this person and you just snub it, you don't know if they are in danger! When God leads you to do anything, please stop thinking, just obey! Just obey!
Delayed obedience can cause so much harm, when God says stop, there might be danger ahead, when he says go now, there might be favor somewhere! When you hear God speak just OBEY🔥
