Brush Creek, Berry Creek, Feather Falls - All sustained substantial damage to infrastructure, homes, and other structures. Therefore, access into these areas will take time due to damage, including trees, roads, etc. A lot of damage.

NW side - Big Bend - Securing line in and around area. Lines have held. Lot of hard work, very tough to work in. Will take time.

Three levels of lines up Jarbo Gap up to ridge system using Ponderosa way to Flea Valley, Dixie Road and Rock Creek road. Fire has not had a lot of activity in NW zone.

Ponderosa Reservoir lines are holding on fires edge and work done around Forbestown to Clipper Mills. Lots of contingency and alternative lines. Contingency line on LaPorte Road.

Continues to be challenging day due to rugged terrain at Lost Creek and South Fork of Feather River. 1 hour of airplanes and helicopters. Limited due to smoke.

Crossed secondary line in area today but crews are working hard.

A change in weather pattern - cold front starting Thursday. West to east - will keep wind direction similar to what's going on now. It will bring in cooler air and higher humidity. We'll see those effects Friday. No rain expected.

Lost Creek Reservoir area had growth today. Lots of young pine trees (3-10 feet tall) that ignite easily and contribute to spotting. "Significant spotting potential."

Kristina from Forbestown was out and about and she had drugs and ammunition which she can't have (probation).

Robert from Forbestown was riding his bike in evacuated area and he had a warrant for his arrest.

Additional details - life threatening emergency in Big Bear yesterday. Anaphylactic reaction & difficulty breathing. Very rugged area. Lengthy technical rescue with helicopter.
