Chicago police are blocking all southbound traffic on Michigan Ave. at Ohio St. as hundreds of people in their cars take to the streets to celebrate Mexican independence day. Also nearly all exits into the downtown area from LSD are shutdown as well. #Chicago
The bridges are not raised but travel around the downtown area including the Loop and Gold Coast areas are limited. Police are blocking all traffic they can and attempting to move the massive caravan of revelers away from the downtown area. #Chicago
