BREAKING: Hurricane Sally has sent a loose barge w/ a crane hurtling toward the Escambia Bay Bridge in Florida, sheriff tells me.

"We are literally just watching it and waiting for it to happen."

This AFTER another barge damaged the Pensacola Bay Bridge.

Sheriff David Morgan of Escambia County told me he considered firing grenades at the barge as it moved toward the Escambia Bay Bridge near Pensacola.
