1) What did I fucking say.
Let’s play a game.
There are 650k people in Portland.
There are 4 million people in Oregon overall.
2) Here’s the 2016 election results.
Hillary 1 million votes
Trump 782 thousand.
He lost by just under a quarter million votes.
nytimes.com/elections/2016…
3) In Portland, Hillary got 292 thousand votes, Trump 68 thousand.
224 thousand vote different, which makes up the vast majority of the vote differential.
I’m putting this all in perspective for you.
4) Every Dem that doesn’t show up means one more fake vote to win.
Every Dem that changes teams means two more fake votes to win.
Every one of the half of portland that didn’t vote before turning out is one more fake vote needed.
5) Let’s say IN PORTLAND ALONE, the antifa/blm rioters drove the voters batshit.
Another funny note:
The Portland Mayor is up for reelection in november.
So even more people may turn out to throw him out. (His opponent isn’t any better, keep in mind.)
6) Those voters turning out may throw in votes for Trump as well as against Ted Wheeler.
Factor in Trump doing better statewide, where the net total difference in votes between him and hillary amounted to a couple thousand overall...
7) And, for the sake of argument, let’s say that 2/3 number is generous. Let’s call it half flip and vote for trump.
Let’s do that math.
8) Those are FLIPS, keep in mind.
Biden drops one, Trump gains one, and this is assuming the same turnout.
146k flips is a 292k swing. That gives Trump Oregon.
Let’s be even more conservative.
Let’s say 1/3 flip.
9) 88k flip. That’s 176k shift. Assuming high turnout among people who supported Trump and low for Biden, that puts Trump in striking range.
Is that optimistic? Maybe. But that’s just in Portland. What about the wider state? 1 million Hillary voters, how many of THEM flip?
10) And that’s in OREGON, which has been blue for 2 fucking DECADES.
Nobody thought Trump was cracking the Blue Wall. But he did. And that was 4 years ago.
Food for thought.
